About Us

Town and Country Veterinary Hospital was established in 1986 in Junction City, Kansas by Dr. Robert Haynes with the help of his wife and lifetime partner, Pamela.

Dr. Haynes graduated from Kansas State University in 1986 and opened a mobile large animal veterinary practice servicing northeastern Kansas and JC Livestock Sales, Inc. (a large sale barn located in Junction City).

In 1997 the practice was expanded to include small animal and exotic medicine.  A permanent hospital facility was established at that time in south Junction City. With the addition of the hospital, Dr. Theresa McCreath was added to the team in 1998 as head of small animal medicine. In 2002, grooming was added to our services when Dorothy Stewart was hired. As the grooming portion of our practice continued to grow, a second finish groomer, Nichole Fairchild, was added in 2009.
