About Us
Town and Country Veterinary Hospital was established in 1986 in Junction City, Kansas by Dr. Robert Haynes with the help of his wife and lifetime partner, Pamela.
Dr. Haynes graduated from Kansas State University in 1986 and opened a mobile large animal veterinary practice servicing northeastern Kansas and JC Livestock Sales, Inc. (a large sale barn located in Junction City).
In 1997 the practice was expanded to include small animal and exotic medicine. A permanent hospital facility was established at that time in south Junction City. With the addition of the hospital, Dr. Theresa McCreath was added to the team in 1998 as head of small animal medicine. In 2002, grooming was added to our services when Dorothy Stewart was hired as head of the grooming department. As the practice continued to grow, a third Veterinarian, Dr. Sarah Boller, was added in the summer of 2005.
2006 brought the opportunity to expand the practice by moving into and remodeling the southern half of our existing building. This affectively doubled our floor plan and in 2007 allowed us to add a second finish groomer, Deberra Patton, to our expanding practice.
With a total staff compliment of 13 dedicated people, we feel that our veterinary hospital is the best-balanced hospital in the area. We’re large enough to truly be a full-service hospital and yet we’re small enough to really care about you and your animals as individuals.
